How to clear the content inside the database log file?

Hi there

First of all I'd like to THANK the developer @subhra74 for this brilliant software.
Well done!!!
I love it. (I used IDM for many years, and I was looking for an alternative open source software, and I'm very happy I've found it).

After installing the software on Windows 10 machine, I've noticed 2 folders:

1st is on: C:\Program Files (x86)\XDM.

2nd is on: C:\Users(name).xdm-app-data.

*On the settings page, I have chosen to use a different locations for: Temp downloads and for the Complete downloaded files.

Now, I just have 2 questions that I couldn't find any answers yet:

1. In general, why there are 2 different locations for this software? (Why not all the folders and files are in one location: Program files)?

2. Is there an option to clean/clear the content inside the .db file (downloads.db) on: C:\Users(name).xdm-app-data ?

I'm asking this because I had a quick look inside this file, and I saw a list of file name I've downloaded, and I'd love to have an option to clear this list.
