I kept getting an error message when I went onto the map ('geolocation error: timeout') and there didn't seem to be any way around it? As a result I didn't use it and just reverted to the twitter stream because it was taking too long to zoom from the global view down to london. I presume this had something to do with Sukey wanting to know my phone's location?

New geolocation code no longer alerts user on failure so the problem is fixed.
Opt-out however is an anonymity concern, but possibly not sensible on mobile? The desktop version will always have to ask for permission for location due to the spec of html5 geolocation [I think]
