Hello,

I used redumper build 388 to rip a war*z CD. The drive I used is Plector PX-755SA, and the command I used is:

cd --verbose --drive=F --retries=100 --image-name=PWIN98 --image-path=.\media_redumper\PWIN98

While dumping, I noticed that redumper was reporting Q errors almost every second. There were also two C2 errors.

The data side of this disc does not have any scratches. I felt very strange, so I used Alcohol 120% to dump the CD. The dump process was completed smoothly and the software did not report any errors. However when I tried to convert the mdf file to iso file using PowerISO, it reported "unexpected end of file".

In addition, I used DiscImageCreator to capture this CD, there were also many Sub Channel errors.

I would like to ask you what the possible cause of this error is and what files I need to upload to help you confirm the problem? Thank you very much.

Subchannel errors are normal and it's ok to ignore them. You will get different Q errors counts on different dumps though.

2 C2 errors are common for CD-R, if it's CD-R that you dump, they are mastering errors and are safe to ignore, but you will have to use an option --force-split and --leave-unchanged to generate cue/bin files.

Different software dump discs differently and successful dump is not an indication that the dump is correct.
