create-svelte skeleton project creation cannot add additional options

Describe the bug

running npm create svelte@latest and selecting Skeleton project, I get the new select additional options menu.

There is no way to select these, and when I hit enter, they install SvelteKit with none of the options.

Reproduction

simply run npm create svelte@next

I found a solution, use the spacebar to select options on my terminal. There needs to be something in the docs about this.
