This repository is no longer maintained as are the plugins in micro-plugins. For more details see zyedidia/micro#2956.

If anyone wants to maintain the plugin channel or any plugin that is in the micro-plugins, let us know in this issue and the repository will be transferred.

Hi @taconi, I have been creating my own plugins and updating the existing misspell plugin recently but have no idea where to put it. It seems like the updates are quite slow.

Since I have decided to use this editor as my main editor, I would like to maintain some part of it. Ideally, I would like to contribute and update the official plugin channel but it does seem like it is quite limited by how free @zyedidia is, not to mention the official plugin website is not updated for 4 years as well.

It feels like everything is scattered around everywhere and it makes the whole submitting plugin process confusing and difficult.

Are you currently using other editors instead of micro?

@Neko-Box-Coder maybe you can volunteer to maintain the plugin channel, I believe the best way to do this is the issue zyedidia/micro#2956.

Another thing that can be done is to create another plugin channel, perhaps get together with other plugin developers like @texastoland and create an organization to group the plugins and the community plugin channel.
I created the organization micro-plugins for this purpose and mirrored the plugins channel to github, but as I no longer use the editor I archived the plugins and the plugins channel. If you don't want to start from scratch, I can transfer the plugin channel and plugins from there.

@taconi Thanks for your advice. I think I will wait for a week or so and see how active is the official plugin channel.
If not, I think I will merge both the official one and this one in a separate repo. And I probably will have quite a number of questions when going through the plugins here you created when trying to update it if that's okay.

Just out of curiosity, would you mind telling me what editor you are using just as a reference for me? :)

And also, do you know which ones (especially filemanager2) are merged to the official channel or not, are your ones merged in at all?

No problem, feel free to ask any questions.

I'm currently using emacs.

All plugins listed in these repositories are not in the official plugin channel.

Hi,
For anyone looking for a plugin channel, I have forked this channel, added new features, and will continue to maintain it.

I really appreciate the effort done by @taconi on not only the channel but also his plugins. I can see all the effort that goes into it. I will fork his plugins (at some point when I am free) and continue to maintain them.
