Here's the list of ingredients -
- 1/2 pack of American BBQ Slaw Salad mix (Coles - https://shop.coles.com.au/a/a-national/product/coles-american-bbq-slaw-kit)
- 1 Pack of pre-cooked baby beetroots (Coles - https://shop.coles.com.au/a/a-national/product/coles-baby-beetroot)
- 1/2 Fresh Avocado
- 1/2 Capsicum
- 1 Small Can Corn Kernel (Coles - https://shop.coles.com.au/a/a-national/product/coles-corn-kernels)
- 50gms Un-salted Mixed Nuts (Coles - https://shop.coles.com.au/a/a-national/product/coles-unsalted-mixed-nuts)
- Balsamic Vinegar (Coles - https://shop.coles.com.au/a/a-national/product/mazzetti-vinegar-balsamic-1-leaf-5604629p)
- 2 Tablespoons of Freshly squeezed Orange Juice or bottled (https://shop.coles.com.au/a/a-national/product/grove-juice-orange-chilled)
- Baby Spinach (Few leaves)
I usually bin the sauce in preference to the vinegar/orange juice combination mentioned above. Feel free to use the sauce provided.
- Pour 1/2 of the contents of the American BBQ Slaw Crunch Salad into the salad bowl
- Cut up 1/2 pack of the pre-cooked baby beetroots and pout into the salad bowl
- Dice 1/2 avocado and pour into the salad bowl
- Dice 1/2 capsicum and pout into the salad bowl
- Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
- Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed orange juice (or bottled)
- Sprinkle some olive oil over
- Chuck some baby spinach over
- Try corn instead of the capsicum
- Try Lemon juice instead of the orange juice
- Try only almonds, only walnuts, only macadamia nuts as compared to using mixed nuts
