Shell info widget fails to render #2599
Comments
I was getting the same error where some other model was not loading. Tweaking with the environment libraries version somehow solved the problem. |
Can you post the environment you used that worked? |
I will post it by tomorrow. I have an exam tomorrow morning. |

Any updates on this @Sumit112192 ? Did you manage to pinpoint the package that was causing the issue and how one could resolve it? |
Haven't looked at it for a while. I will revert back if I find something useful. |
This might be solved using the new lock files in https://github.com/tardis-sn/tardis/pull/2641/files |
Ok, will do that. |
@atharva-2001 Still showing the same error as the previous one, |
I'm not seeing the same javascript error in your screenshot, but in general I expect we must just replace qgrid in some form. |
Here is what I found qgrid any version is not compatible with ipywidgets>=4 In all, it is to replace qgrid with a different library, which is actively maintained and compatible with the latest versions of ipywidgets and jupyterlab_widgets. |
Describe the bug
The shell info widget fails to render and produces javascript errors related to qgrid.
To Reproduce
Run the how-to generating widgets docs notebook.
