Is there middleware in Tauri 2.0?

As the title is asking. I've tried looking up if there is a way to implement middleware for tauri, but no luck so far :(.
Does anyone know how to implement middleware in Tauri 2.0?

What do you mean with middleware in the context of tauri? Like what would it do?

do you mean the tauri backend == what's called when you use invoke etc? For that there's indeed no middleware but i also can't imagine a good and useful way to implement it in tauri.

if you mean some remote backend, then this is up to the frontend / the request client library / whatever, not tauri.

Yes, I mean the tauri backend, not a remote backend.
I thought it is a standard to validate user sessions in the backend (i use jwt)? 
I am just confused on how I should validate user sessions in tauri backend, though I can totally do it in the frontend.

Well no, it isn't. It's really just that, similar to a very trimmed down fetch() that only calls that local "backend".

I guess so, yeah. But i don't see where middleware fits in there, but i didn't do frontend/app development for ages so i don't even know what a user session validation would look like here, or why it'd require middleware.

What's user's sessions validation you are consern of in context of tauri app?
despite GUI (app window) is rendered in "browser" it's not exactly the server-client communication from your POV
and all validation and other underhood staff are handeled by tauri

If you are meaning that your app should use some external API/URLs it's a completely different story...
