`d.HasChange` thinks that there is a change between state versions, as we call `Update` prior to calling `Read` and `source_dest_check` is set to the boolean default `false` instead of the schema default of `true`. Thus, we need to ensure that if there is a diff registered, it's not on a new instance. The second conditional should catch if we're setting `source_dest_check` to `false` on an initial run.
