Steps to Reproduce:

1. The following line of code is causing the syntax highlighting to fail for all subsequent lines of code in a groovy script file:

{ it / excludedRegions("/build/.*\r\n/src/${branchPath}release/product/Hotfixes/.*") }

Reproduces without extensions: Yes
