Beim CDA wird derzeit IIP Image für das Erkunden und Inspizieren eines Gemäldes benutzt. Das Tool ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und hat einen entscheidenden Nachteil: es benötigt eine Serverkomponente und pyramidale Tiffs als Sources. Dieses Tool soll ersetzt werden. Nach ein kurzen Recherche wurde Open Sea Dragon als vielversprechendes Tool identifiziert. Eine Beispielimplementierung liegt dazu vor.

Im Rahmen dieses Issues soll eine ausführliche Recherche in diesem Themenfeld gemacht und die aussichtsreichsten Tools prototypisch implementiert und verglichen werden.

Aufwand/Budget(Std.): Recherche/Basiskonzept 8 Std., danach bitte noch mal mit mir verhandeln.
