The pipeline can already be installed via pip, but installing it into a dedicated conda environment is much more robust than asking users to install it into their native Python environment.

A solution here is to move to MiniForge. With MiniForge, we still have Conda but are no longer coupled to the Anaconda distribution channels (the default Conda channel is the community-maintained Conda-forge).
