Gmail Desktop Version - Version: 3.0.0-alpha.37 (dev)
You can find the version at Gmail Desktop → About Gmail Desktop. Make sure you're running the latest version to make sure the bug hasn't been fixed yet.

After installing, when entering username to login to gmail account, it gives an error saying the browser is not secure.
