StreamScout is a website that allows users to view real-time stream flow and gage height data for rivers and streams around the United States. The site features an interactive map to find monitoring sites, chart viewer to visualize data over time, and account creation to save and track favorite sites.
Stream data is taken from the USGS National Water Information System. The data shown on the site is for informational purposes only and is subject to the provisional data statement provided by the USGS.
Map data and tiles are provided by OpenStreetMap. OSM's Nominatim geocoding service powers the map search functionality on the site.
