Asset folder like a filename without ".assets".

Is it possible to add option to create folder for assets like a filename without ".assets" in the name?
e.g.:

something/
something.md

Hi Tamas. I just create pull request with few additional lines of code which can solve my question (account dwapinski is not used by me at ths moment). Thanks for great, simple and very useful package. I will try to participate and add few other useful things.
