I have recently found out that Cabal has support for scripts, that is, one file packages — similar to the «script» feature of Stack. One way to discover it is by looking at issue haskell/cabal#6149. I am not finding a description of this feature in the recent Cabal user guide. Surely it should be more discoverable.
