Is the webui closed source?
Are there plans to make it open source?

It will be soon if there are people want it. There is no problem about making it open source, I haven't make it open source yet just because the frontend right now is actually very minimal, only a search route and some static pages.

I am interested in contributing to both the backend and frontend, so it would be nice if you made the frontend open source as well.
