The gui doesn't show up anymore since I updated to btsync 2.0.81-1.
The tray icon stays still and with the blue play-overlay.
Left and right clicks don't do anything.

Is there any time schedule when this will be implemented?

I have been waiting for version 2.0 to appear in btsync-gui, but I am still on 1.4.111. I verified that the repository is correct. I even uninstalled btsync-gui and reinstalled it, but I remain on 1.4.111. I do want to move to 2.0 because my other devices are now on 2.0. I see that btsync-gui still uses btsync-common instead of btsync-core. Am I using the wrong version of btsync-gui from the repository?

Hi @mlmilliman, just joined github for this comment? ;)
As you can read above, version 2.x does not yet work with btsync-gui.
We have to wait.

You are correct on my reason to join GitHub. My serious code writing days are behind me other than an occasional shell script or Python hack. It wasn't clear from the notes above that the 2.0 client wasn't incorporated in btsync-gui yet. Other things I read indicated that it was especially since there is a repository for 1.4. I am using btsync-core and I noticed that the GUI doesn't recognize any of my 2.0 folders. I'll wait for the complete 2.0 integration. Thanks for the clarification.

Would it be possible to have btsync in both versions, and then keep the server edition on the new one and the gui-editions on an older version?

Might be horrible complexity-wise though.

Another one chiming in. I just noticed last night that my sync server had updated and is running on a 2.x version now. I wanted to echo mogoh in asking: is there an ETA or even a plan for updating to 2.x?
