Hi,

There are areas of overlap between the above projects. Is it possible to look at working together and merging the implementations of the overlap so use of packages of one or the other can interop without the pain.

We are working on that here:

Trying to find a common subset.

This does not seem to include Breeze / ScalaNLP (other projects under this umbrella). There is a effort for some merge of Spire and Breeze. I think perhaps you can try merging your efforts with Breeze as there is a lot of overlap. Also considering Scalaz / typelevel support / interop would be great.

If this is not done soon there will be fragmentation and interop headaches in packages using one or the other.

@sirinath We welcome the breeze / ScalaNLP guys to join that group. We have tweeted about it and I hope they will get involved. Please encourage them to collaborate.

As for spire and scalaz, they are participating.

Breeze also seams to be willing is it possible to contact the ScalaNLP team to take things forward?
