<h3>A short listing of the Rebbe's activities during his years of leadership</h3>
<ul>
<li><span class="year">5662</span> - Born on Yud Aleph Nissan in Nikolayev, Ukraine.</li>
<li><span class="year">5669</span> - Moves with his family to Yeketrinoslav (Dneprepretrovsk), Learns with great diligence and succeeds, gains an understanding in all parts / sections of Torah.</li>
<li><span class="year">5678</span> - Assists his father in leading the community and arranging help for the Polish refugees escaping from the first world war.</li>
<li><span class="year">5682</span> - Visits Tomchei Tmimim in Charkov.</li>
<li><span class="year">5683</span> - visits Rostov, meets the Frierdiker Rebbe for the first time.</li>
<li><span class="year">5684</span> - Attends a Farbrengen of the Friderdike Rebbe of Yud Tes Kislev, he is appointed as the 'Minister of Haskala' and acts as the Frierdike Rebbe's right hand man in protecting the Yiden in soviet Russia. The Friderdike Rebbe assigns him as the Chasan of his daugter.</li>
<li><span class="year">5685</span> - spends Tishrei with the Friderdike Rebbe, and visits the Rogochove Gaon at that time (and gets Smicha from him).</li>
<li><span class="year">5686</span> - Visits the Yeshiva in Tomchei Tmimim in Krmenchug as a messanger of his father in law.</li>
<li><span class="year">5687</span> - in the month of Chesvan participates in the Rabinical convention in Krostin, spends time in Leningrad and while the Frierdike Rebbe is in jail, he works a lot to have him released.</li>
<li><span class="year">5688</span> - Spends Tishrei in Yeketrinostlav, visits Korosk and Leningrad on Sucos with his mother, and becomes his father in laws personal secretary in Riga.</li>
<li><span class="year">5689</span> - Marries the Frierdike Rebbe's Daughter - Rebetzin Chaya Mushka.</li>
<li><span class="year">5692</span> - Goes to visit Reb Chaim Ozer Gurdzinsky as a messenger of the Frierdike Rebbe, visits Reb Boruch Ber Lebovitch.</li>
<li><span class="year">5693</span> - Visits Harav Hatzadik etc. Reb Chaim Elazar from Munkatch - the author of the Minchas Elazar, and Harav Hagoen Reb Shimon Shkop. Forced to move out of his home to Paris at the end of of the winter. Servs as the personal secratary of the Frierdike Rebbe.</li>
<li><span class="year">5695</span> - Spends Tishrei with his Father in law in Varsha, on his Shlichus he visits to comfort the Gere Rebbe R' Avraham Mordechai Alter - the baal Imrei Emes. Arranges the Igros of the Frierdike Rebbe for print, and publishes kovetz Hatamim.</li>
<li><span class="year">5696</span> - Visits his father in law a few times in Otvotsk, becomes the honorary chairman of Kupas Bochrim, meets with R' Sabsai Rapaort - Baal Sifsei Kohanim, visits R' Aharon from Belz.</li>
<li><span class="year">5697</span> - Serves as his father in laws secretary (who spent some time in Paris), before Shavous they live paris (because of the Nazi's) and move to Vishi (where they arrived on Erev Shavous), they spend a few months there until the begining of the summer of Tof Shin Aleph.</li>
