Protect lilyglyphs glyphs from microtype

When using microtype lilyglyphs items often are cramped too much, especially the padding to the left and right is pressed through microtype's handling.

Investigate whether microtype allows to protect anything from being stretched or compressed, something like an \mbox one could put around an item.
