Not only for unit systems here, but other places including RI or SE Port JSON-based unit definitions in https://github.com/anjdreas/UnitsNet/tree/master/UnitsNet/UnitDefinitions look interesting.

They are .NET "culture" based, but should be mostly compatible with Java Locale.
Maybe something for https://github.com/unitsofmeasurement/uom-tools?
