Feature Request: Ability to open BIN/CUE files #18
Comments
Sounds like a reasonable feature suggestion, however I'm struggling to find any good real-world examples of HFS(+/X) discs in this format for testing. Could you point me to a HFS(+/X)-formatted BIN/CUE that I can use to validate the changes? |
A few images that should work well -- A couple of these like Disney's Aladdin seemed to have an (empty?) ISO9660 partition as well?
|
I can provide many BIN/CUE format HFS CD-ROM. Here's one for MACLIFE31 (MacJapanese encoded filenames)
So, I end up ripping both formats most of the time. |
Happen to have any updates on this, for those interested? |
Just going to note: |
It would be nice to be able to open and extract from BIN/CUE images without converting to ISO first.
For example, I like to dump Mac CDs sometimes, and contribute metadata for those dumps to Redump. As those dumps are BIN/CUE combos, HFS Explorer isn't amazingly fond of trying to open them (both when selecting either the CUE or BIN) as it cannot find an HFS partition with them, but can when converted to ISO.
Thanks for your time and the application itself!
