Step 1: Update the System and Install Git

  1. Update the package list:
    sudo apt-get update
  2. Install Git:
    sudo apt-get install git
  3. Verify Git installation:
    git --version

Step 2: Install the Go Programming Language

  1. Download the Go tarball:
    curl -sLo go.tar.gz https://go.dev/dl/go1.22.3.linux-amd64.tar.gz
  2. Extract the tarball to /usr/local:
    sudo tar -C /usr/local -xzf go.tar.gz
  3. Remove the tarball:
    rm go.tar.gz
  4. Set the PATH environment variable:
    export PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/go/bin
  5. Verify Go installation:
    go version

Step 3: Clone the geoip Repository

  1. Clone the repository:
    git clone https://github.com/us254/geoip.git
  2. Navigate to the geoip directory:
    cd geoip

Step 4: Update the Configuration File

  1. Remove the existing config.json file:
    rm -f config.json
  2. Download the updated config.json file:
