AUDIO from ARCHIVE
AEO-Light is designed to work with existing frame-based archival scans without requiring a second pass on a scanner dedicated to digitizing the continuous audio track. Source film scans must contain a orizontal overscan to include the full width of the optical soundtrack and vertical overscan to provide enough information from the previous and following film frames to register the soundtrack from frame to frame. Input can be individual frames in DPX or TIF format or any video source that can be read by FFmpeg.
