pestpp output file question

I am running pestpp and I have the following question: in the doc the output file case.res is mentioned (Residuals file. This file lists model outputs, observations, residuals and related data calculated using best parameters achieved through the inversion process. The latter are listed in file case.par.) . In the runs I conduct this file is not created.
is this a sign of faulty end?
