Problem

I am an allowed user for a bot command, and am @'ed frequently by the default behavior of this bot framework.

Specifically, this template includes a message of @my-slack-handle, which is emitted frequently.

Discussion

Can some configuration be enabled for a silent mode? Perhaps my handle is escaped, but still shared? At the rate that I am pinged, I do not want to be spammed, so I want the bot owner to either:

  1. remove me from the bot allowedUsers list, or
  2. configure some silent setting that helps the user who needs assistance, but does not ping me, an allowed user during a RBAC vilolation event
