The application deadlock, where the app logo spins forever, is back on 1.3.9 (perhaps before). We fixed the same kind of bug 4 months ago in #3906.

In the other side, the NSE can be blocked (#4335).

According to user reports, we already had the issue in the previous release, 1.3.6, but not before on 1.3.5.

We hope matrix-org/matrix-ios-sdk#1106 will fix this. Will be reopened if still seen in the upcoming releases.
