Is there a way to specify smoother paths in the command line version?

I am amazed by how well this works, it's a great alternative to paid tools like vectorizer.ai --- One question though, sometimes even though the input has smooth edges the outputs will have sharp edges, I can take the result into Adobe Illustrator and use the smooth tool on all paths and it seems very well to fix the subtle misalignment of curves and sharp edges where there should be none, but I'm wondering if I'm missing something in the command line that could help even things out. It's most noticeable around circular curves, end of paths and the nose in this example. Thank you!
