Is it possible to incrementally rebuild a "vite build"?

If you run the vite build command with the --watch flag, it re-processes all the rollupOptions.input when you change one file.
In the console it shows that only one module has been changed. On a large number of rollupOptions.input it slows down the build very much.
Is it possible to incrementally rebuild only changed files with the build command with the --watch flag?
