As a programmer it would be nice to have the ability to embed shell commands in strings for convenience. For instance, variable files would contain a list of files generated by the execution of command ls :

e := echo.New()
files := e.Eval("$(ls)")

The command substitution format should use $(<command>) as is done in shell programs.
