Hi,

link_design is not currently supported in yosys
in here https://github.com/vortexgpgpu/vortex/blob/master/hw/syn/yosys/synth.sh#L140

An answer in yosysHQ suggest using hierarchy
YosysHQ/yosys#4660 (comment)

synth.sh needs to be modified(may be the 31st line). Please have a look at it.
