Contribution guidance

I'm interested in contributing to this project but I couldn't find a contributing guide seeing so many contributors. I assumed you were open to help. I've been working on improving the developer mode. Prototyping experience by enhancing the page that opens when you run npm, run Dev. This is also helping me get familiar with the code base. I would appreciate some guidance.
