Choosing a view has no impact on the nodes shown in the debug tree

The black box view is selected, but I still see every node of the report in the debug tree. I would like to see only the incoming message and the outgoing message. Maybe also some related session keys, but certainly not pipe nodes.

This is not a frontend issue, as the frontend only asks the backend which checkpoints should be shown or hidden.
This is backend issue or most likely a configuration issue with the FF!
Im transferring this to the backend repo.
