We can improve readability by replacing lines like

panic!(
  "expected a module ordinal for identifier '{}', but none was found.",
  module
)

with

panic!("expected a module ordinal for identifier '{module}', but none was found.")

This should improve the codebase's maintainability and developer productivity.
