This is a separated proposal from #143 that includes just these tests:

https://wpt.fyi/results/clipboard-apis/async-write-svg-read-svg.https.html?label=experimental&label=master&aligned https://wpt.fyi/results/clipboard-apis/async-svg-script-removal.https.html?label=experimental&label=master&aligned https://wpt.fyi/results/clipboard-apis/async-custom-formats-write-read.tentative.https.html?label=experimental&label=master&aligned

See issue #143 for rationale and overall context.

Thank you for proposing Clipboard API: SVG and custom types for inclusion in Interop 2023.

We wanted to let you know that this proposal was not selected to be part of Interop this year. We had many strong proposals, and could not accept them all. In addition we are still missing test infrastructure for testing clipboard operations. However this should not be taken as a comment on the technology as a whole, and resubmitting a proposal for this feature as part of a future round of Interop, once the test infrastructure issues are resolved, would be welcome.

For an overview of our process, see the proposal selection summary. Thank you again for contributing to Interop 2023!
