EIP-2831 is an EIP that aims to notify dapps and consumers of provider libraries (i.e web3.js, metamask, etc..) that a user has cancelled, speed up, or replaced their transaction.

Really useful proposal to a problem that needs addressing in practically every dApp, however, doesn't solve the issue of event support on mobile as more and more users migrate/onboard there rather than web.
