Wezterm flowchart heirarchy seems to be incorrect

What page or section of the docs have an issue?
The flow chart on https://wezfurlong.org/wezterm/config/files.html#configuration-files

Describe the issue
I am on Fedora and according to the flowchart wezterm will first look for $HOME/.config/wezterm/wezterm.lua and if it doesn't exist then it will use $HOME/.wezterm.lua. But even though I was editing my .config lua file the changes weren't being reflected. Only when I edited the #HOME/.wezterm.lua file did my changes start getting reflected.

I am not sure if I am doing something wrong, but I strongly feel their is a problem in the docs. This is my first time creating an issue on Github so please forgive me if I have been rude or unclear with my issue.
