"ping" on recognition

Hi,
WOW nice and nifty app !

Q:
would it be possible to put a option in the settings to invoke a sort of "alert tone" with a detection above the treshold - that can be turned on/off by a switch option.
A simple "bell" sound or selectable sound would do.
We are using the app right now on a migration count post (VisMig) together with a "BirdFox Birdmic" parabolic microphone setup.
But as we are mostly looking around for migrating birds, we can not continiously look on the tablet, and since the sounds are not saved in any case, we miss some nice ( read : rare ) migrators from time to time.

that sound would be recorded and disturb detections in the next 3 seconds ...

ah YES, it would if we used the phone microphone, but our parabolic dish is 15 meters away from us (to prevend our talks to interfere with the recordings), maybe it would not disturb as the dish looks away from our point of view

Not an option then?

You can try this version. It has a different app id, so you can install it in parallel.
Remove .zip and install:
app-release.apk.zip
