Secure the generateAuthorizationCode mutation

Hey,

I want to know how can I secure the generateAuthorizationCode mutation?
I tried some security plugins like Limit Login Attempts and Activity Log, neither can detect the login attempt from the generateAuthorizationCode mutation.

Any suggestion of plugin/php code for logging and limiting login attempts from this mutation?
