Android agent "Mute" operation non functional for API 24

Description:
When selecting the "Mute" operation there is no output from the side of the device and the server UI maintains the "pending" status long after.
In both the instances where I tried the "Mute" operation any subsequent operation also gets delayed and not relayed to the device.

After a certain period of time the devices list shows the following as the status.
