"Failed to move to new namespace" when trying to launch Google Chrome

When I try to launch Google Chrome by typing the command google-chrome from within a Terminal window, the following error occurs (choosing Chrome from the Applications->Internet->Google Chrome menu in the GUI doesn't do anything).

Most likely you need to configure your SUID sandbox correctly
