[Enhancement] Blazor (Razor Components) Backend Platform? #4888

Summary

Add a Blazor (i.e. Razor Components) backend rendering platform to make web applications with XF.

API Changes

None.

Intended Use Case

Pretty self-explanatory. Blazor seems very well suited to serve as a backend platform for Xamarin Forms. This would really complete the promise of cross platform .NET and give React and Ionic a serious run for their money.

I'm mainly interested to know if the team here - or anyone in the community - is doing this or has plans to, before I start this myself. Early experiments are proving very promising.

Also, I am aware of Ooui and it looks interesting, but it's only sporadically being worked on and it's not actually using Blazor as far as I can tell. I very much like Blazor's render tree system and I think it pairs well with the XF platform rendering scheme.

#1895 addresses this topic in the comments. There are no such plans at this time.
