Is this the famous Hubička algorithm failing,
or just some random bug?
If I use default mandelbrot fractal and zoom in for a while,
and then zoom out again, I often get weird streaks vertically or horizontallly.
I am using Xaos4.2 on Windows 10. This problem definitely did NOT occur earlier today when I had Xaos3.5 installed. It started after I removed the old xaos and re-installed the new one. If I press "r" or F5 to re-calculate the image, the streaks go away. Was using 16 threads for better speed since my CPU has them.
I will attempt to attach an image that shows the error.

I turned down the number of threads from 16 to 1 and the problem went away.
It was back with 8 threads, but with 2 threads even up to 4 I did not see much.
6 and 7 threads definitely has some streaks.
I think I am seeing the same thing. Screenshot below taken after zooming XaoS 4.2.1 in and out, using 31 threads on a Ryzen 7950X3D on Windows 10 22H2.
