Maybe use https://github.com/alacritty/copypasta instead of your fork of x11-clipboard?
The MacOS and Windows features won't be enabled, so they won't bloat the binaries.

Is there any solution to resolve the issue with the wayland on ubuntu desktop. It shows an error as "A required Wayland protocol (name: zwlr_data_control_manager_v1, version: 1) is not supported by the compositor"
