CRAN release

This package has actually been stable for some time, but we never got around to a CRAN release (though see #9). It would be nice to do so now because a) then we can be included in the proposed archaeology CTV (see benmarwick/ctv-archaeology#71) and b) I roughly plan the next release to be a major one, adding new functions for the 'v2' XRONOS API.

What do you think, @MartinHinz? Are we ready for the CRAN gauntlet?

You know how time-consuming and nerve-wracking a CRAN release can be, right? That said, since Dendro will hopefully be ready soon, it would certainly be nice to make it available here as well.

But why not? What do you think—can we push a Dendro update in the near future, even if it means dealing with the whole CRAN hassle twice in relatively quick succession?

This is part of my thinking – in my experience, CRAN submissions are easier if you do them little and often. I'll go ahead then.
