#759 has some comments from @TQPS, who is looking for help to update their Yeti database. They used to relie on the bootstrap_ubuntu.sh script, which is also not fulfilling their expectations in terms of upgrades (they break).
What's the best way to provide bootstrap and migration scripts that can benefit everyone, without having the core Yeti team have to maintain a list of such scripts for every flavor?
The current approach is to use Docker, which is platform agnostic and provides a reliable way to get the system up and running using a few commands. Would some generic documentation about which services to install & how to perform an upgrade be better?
