"About vmd" throws error on OSX

On OSX with a fresh install (just found out about this project today) the About vmd menu option throws an error:

I don't have OS X so i don't know how to fix this. We could also get rid of the "About vmd" thing entirely. I think Electron adds this automatically on OS X.

So, I've added the "help wanted" tag since this only happens on OS X and I don't have a Mac anywhere near.

It would be great if all the menu items that are automatically added on OS X could be removed unless there are some handy ones. Then we could add a "Help -> About" menu entry that opens the README or a special HTML page directly in a new vmd window.
