Can you have the "Default" Profile to automatically select the most appropriate profile+level for the chosen resolution : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Video_Coding#Profiles and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Video_Coding#Levels ?
