"-N" compilation flag leads to sigkill

Hi goldmark!

I'm fairly new at Go, so this maybe a dumb question.
I have Goldmark in a project as a transtive dependency. I wan't to launch this project in the VSCode debugger (it uses Delve) but compilation fails on

Build Error: go build -o /workspaces/my-app/__debug_bin -gcflags all=-N -l .
go build github.com/yuin/goldmark/util: /usr/local/go/pkg/tool/linux_arm64/compile: signal: killed (exit status 1)

What I have tried so far:

• reproduce this outside the debugger process by executing go build -x -gcflags all='-N -l' in a terminal => same error
• removing the -N flag, build command becomes go build -x -gcflags all='-l' => compilation OK
• isolating Goldmark in its own project with no other dependency => same error

Goldberg version 1.5.4, Go version 'go1.19.6 linux/arm64'.

I can build the project without -N but this flag is required when debugging.
